Some people ask, "If most adults don't understand St. Paul, how are children going to?"
The same question can be asked about all the plays that I have done. The answer is this. When you look a person in the eye, you can understand a bit about who they are, and this opens the lines of communication. I would not tell a child a story the same way I would tell an adult. That would not be productive.
There are three things that work in my favor. The first is that the kids have been introduced to the life they are going to see with the study guide beforehand. The second is that children are a lot more perceptive then we give them credit for. The third is that the Holy Spirit wants them to understand, and the Holy Spirit can do anything.
